I want the viewer to sit down with friends at the café, or pick up a paddle to row, or hear the noise of the busy train station.

I use light and color to tell my story. I love the contrast created when I place the white of the paper beside the darkest paint.

I travel with a camera. I take photos of my subject from every direction, trying to collect the important information. I’m never sure which vantage point will make the best painting!
