65 Years of Valley Art: A Retrospective

October 7 - November 8, 2014

This October we celebrate our 65th birthday with a retrospective show that will unfold in two unique events.

On the gallery walls will be a retrospective of paintings by artists who have helped create the colorful history and unique reputation that Valley Art Gallery enjoys today. This show will run from October 7 to November 8.

On Saturday, October 11, 4:00 - 7:00 PM, there will be a special 65th ANNIVERSARY PARTY and auction of paintings by several significant Bay Area artists that have been bequeathed or donated to the gallery over the years. Lundy Siegriest and Michael Czaja are just two of the notables that headline this auction.

AUCTION PREVIEW AND BIDS ACCEPTED: The auction paintings will be on display at the gallery and bids accepted beginning Tuesday, October 7, during regular business hours (11am to 5 pm). Some of the included paintings and raffle prizes are pictured here.

Everyone is invited to this free event. There will be refreshments and a raffle of several fine arts and crafts items. Results of the silent Art Auction and raffle winners will be announced at 5:30 pm.
