I am an active painter, painting most every day. I have been painting for about 17 years and exhibit mostly in Contra Costa County. I belong to four art groups and am co-president of Las Juntas Artists in Pleasant Hill.

My paintings are in different locations throughout the area, including the Pleasant Hill library and Diablo Valley College, where I have three paintings in their permanent collection, and have had solo shows there in February 2010 and January 2014. I also exhibit at Valley Art Gallery in Walnut Creek. My paintings are in different mediums, acrylic & acrylic collage, oils, scratchboard, watercolors, and pastels, and I am always trying new things.

I have been taking all of the painting classes at Diablo Valley College that I can take over the years, as well as the Pleasant Hill Adult Art & Painting classes, where I have my fine art certificate. I also do demos for local art groups on occasion and continue to paint each day — it is my "therapy."
