I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts in painting, drawing, and printmaking, and my Master of Fine Arts from the Art Institute of Chicago. I have applied the knowledge and training I received there daily to my art.

Color and composition have always been a driving force in my work. Other important elements in a landscape are the shapes, patterns, light, rhythm, and lines. I translate these elements into emotions.

My memories, the past, and the world around me are also driving forces in my art. I try to connect the dots and keep the peace and beauty in my life.
